A Fine Arts graduate with a major in Visual Communication from the University of the Philippines in Diliman in 2002, he has always been concerned about the possibilities of paintings as visual dialogues.“A painting, as an embodiment of values, serves its purpose best when because of its composition, color, and brushstrokes, it is treasured because of its message or effect, as opposed to just simply being hanged in one’s living room because it compliments the couch.”
"Isang Ikot" is his third solo exhibition for Galerie Anna. He has participated in various exhibitions in other local art galleries. He was also featured in "Synthesis" at the Art Center in SM Megamall last October 2010. He was part of The Chinoy Connection at the Utterly Art Gallery, as part of the Philippine Art Trek III and in New Grounds exhibition at Momentous Arts, as part of the Philippine Art Trek IV, both occasions upon the invitation of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore. He lives in Cainta, Rizal with his wife and two children.
